Electric vehicles are hard to locate but we found one at Borman Autoplex. From the beginning to the end of our purchase experience Braden was very knowledgeable, competent and patient answering all our questions and concerns. He responded quickly to emails and text messages. Since we live quite a distance from Las Cruces, our vehicle was delivered to our home by a Las Cruces towing company arranged by Braden, which also receives 5 stars. All things considered this was a 5 star experience.

Update: after months of being respectively calm with the whole process I meet with the owner. I was lied to and told that he wasn't there. After demanding to speak to him I finally was led to his office where he was the whole time. The conversation ended with him telling me he doesn't pay for his company's mistakes nor does he pay for his employees mistakes or lies. He didn't think I'd record the meeting. I did. I'm very happy I did. Couldn't believe the words that came out of his mouth.We bought 2 vehicles the same night. Brand new Explorer and Lincoln Suv. I brought the Lincoln in for service for faulty air vents, rear windows and a rear wheel well trim that was not attached properly after being contacted thru Lincoln. Borman had my vehicle for 3.5 weeks to fix these things. Upon being called to pick up my vehicle the Service manager stated over the phone that someone "bumped" the tire of a truck into the front driver side bumper. When I arrived I clearly saw he lied. What I saw was:-bumper that was removed- bumper was painted not the same color to match- grill isn't attached inside the bumper- fenders are misaligned and have gaps- hood is not aligned with gaps on one side and tight on the other- texture of the bumper looks to be poorly repaired with fiberglass (bondo filler)-undercarriage cover loose and hanging- built in cameras not operable or working- sensors not working for crash avoidance- center console inside taken apart-food all over the floor inside- steering feels off- brakes don't feel the same- sanded and not even clear coated in places where bumper meets fenders- passenger side of bumper was clear coated without being painted and they painted over chips I hadn't had a chance to touch up so you can't do it now and touch up paint on top of the clear coat as a last minute attempt to cover more scratches and damage but wrong pen used- headlights not even when on- and more...This vehicle has 13,000 miles and isn't a year old. It went in like a new vehicle and the service manager stated that "it looks fine to him" and that "I drive trucks so I don't notice cosmetic things" and proceeded to continue making me feel bad for noticing major damage to my vehicle. He offered to replace the bumper saying "we don't normally do this but" (as if he's doing me a favor) and I felt mortified that they wouldn't even acknowledge the damage or even talk about it but instead became defensive as if I was wrong for stating that my car had been wrecked and I was never told and that they tried to cover up something horrible. Even worse is that they sent me home with a car that has so many safety features not working that I don't even know if the airbags will deploy. My automatic brakes engaged on roadrunner heading home with no one in front of me. I asked for video of the incident and I was told it happened "out of view of the cameras." I contacted my insurance and they're trying to work with the dealerships insurance but it's been horrible. My new Lincoln has lost all of its value and I still have up continue paying it off because they will not take responsibility. I'm assuming that they will not even pay for any depreciating factors given the fact that they're so non communicative with insurance and even Lincoln motors when they tried to contact. I'm very disappointed in Borman and knowing we bought 2 vehicles the same night and brought 2 more people to them within 2 weeks to buy more based on the buying experience I am really torn up over how customer loyalty works there. It seems like the sale is a song and dance of impressing the buyer not afterwards good luck getting any honesty or help. This is going to be a horrible, lengthy and expensive process for me. EXPENSIVE. I thought I could trust them. Nothing they can do or say will ever meet any standards of trust that would get me to bring my vehicle back to them or have any doings with them ever again.

As you know, you chose to file an insurance claim for your repairs with the dealership’s insurance company. Additionally, you also opted to have your vehicle repaired at another body shop instead of at the Borman Autoplex. If you are now not happy with the repairs on your car from that other body shop, that is between you, the insurance company, and that other shop. Any perceived loss of value of your car would also be covered by the same insurance claim filed under the Borman Autoplex policy.

The Maintenance Center is Subpar (Please keep in mind this review is only for their maintenance department) Now keep in mind, I am willing to change my review from this to a 5 star review if I am wrong in a month (meaning if the problem starts up again). And I personally invite Borman to call me in a month and I can take my ride back so they can use it as a lesson to their techs. Borman has gone above and beyond in making me want to never do business with Borman again. About 3 months ago my car started making a clicking sounds above the gas pedal and it turned out the clicking was from an Air Mix Motor. From a previous service they marked my air filters as yellow and figured I’d change them out to see if this alleviated the problem. Unfortunately it didn’t, and unfortunately for me, this is where my true problem stems. Borman checks out my ride and basically says the air filter I installed was crooked and 3rd party and confidently blamed me for the cause of the clicking air flow mix motor. This, personally, is a very valuable lesson learned. Basically, I learned, do not touch anything on the car and let the dealer handle it all until your warranty is up because in my personal experience, they will find any little thing to not honor the warranty. They basically wanted ~$1,400 bucks to fix the clicking. Why? Because they THINK the clicking stems from a foreign body inside the vents but they were absolutely certain that it happened because of me. And they said it is not simply an Air Mix Motor issue. They have a list of a bunch of items to replace and that dash to be disassembled and I explain to them that the issue stems from the original filter they put in if it’s a filter issue, but nope, because I put in that air filter and they basically told me no. No warranty. Your air filter caused a clog inside the ventilation system. They want a large sum of cash to fix something, when they are not even entirely sure if there is a foreign body. Their tech Wants to do a full disassemble and stack on all these replacement parts. Ultimately, I call back and tell them to just replace the clicking part (Air Mix Motor) because I feel THEY should do it, you know, them being certified professionals and they charged me for the diagnostics already. Lo and behold. The issue has been resolved. Eureka! You know. I acknowledge I messed up, being a first time new car buyer, I shouldn’t have replaced a thing on that car as simple as a filter just to avoid a headache, but for them to assume I’m a liar, that I caused the supposed blockage then attempt to charge me over 4x the amount [original quote vs just replacing only the component] to fix the issue. Now I know no one is a “car whisperer” and knows exactly what the issue was but if they simply said “we are not sure, let’s try this and if not, we can try this” I would have respected that. Rather than going full price gouging because they don’t know what the heck the real issue is. Because of Borman’s decision to not trust me and try to price gouge me, I will always avoid that name any time I shop for a vehicle. 0/10. I will not stop by here again. (Unless they want to see the ride again for their own research) But I do have to give it to Borman, they did teach me a valuable lesson in life. I, personally, will never trust a Borman. Borman may have managed to suck approximately $400 out of my bank account, but on the bright side, they didn’t manage to get the additional $1000 they were going for. I know they think the $400 is probably a win for them, and congratulations to them, but that win has cost them multiple customers forever (me and my family included).

I purchased a used subaru in the middle of June. Cecil was great and so was junior, when they were making money. It is now August 8th and after a dozen requests to find out where my plates are, I find out from my bank that they have not received the title yet. Cecil gave me the run around saying that he would check everytime I asked. He never checked. Bottom line, they're interested only in making money off of you at borman autoplex, and once that's done, you're nothing to them. They also charge $100 when buying ued for n inspection and servicing. My car was not serviced. The date on the oil filer written in sharpie was september 2021, the air filter and cabin air filter were full of bugs and dirt. Rip off dealer. Avoid this dealer at all costs. There are far better deals and far better human beings literally anywhere else. Despicable.

Paul.Garay horrible experience! We purchased a Hyundai Santa fe Sport from Borman Autoplex, and took it in gor a service recall. I told them about a safety issue regarding the seat belt and airbag systems. They charged me 114.00 to look under the seat and told me they could not diagnose the issue. That it would take another half day and 400.00 to do additional diagnostic testing but they could not promise to find or fix the problem. When I questioned the 114.00 charges, they removed the charges and told me to find a different dealership to work on my vehicle. Paul Garay told me he did not want my business and to get my vehicle serviced somewhere else.

Paul Garay charged me 114.00 to diagnose a problem with my seat belt/airbag system. But they could not diagnose the problem and told me it would cost 400.00 more for continued diagnostics. However, he said he could not promise to find or fix the problem. When I questioned the 114.00 charges, he removed them, but told me he would not work on my vehicle in the future, and to find another dealership.

I highly recommend purchasing your next new (or used) vehicle from Borman Autoplex. I recently purchased a brand new 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and couldn't be more impressed with Borman's professionalism and service. They really went above and beyond. Braden Tidwell took care of me completely - even picking me up at the airport (El Paso) since I had to fly in to pick up the new SUV. Thank you Cesar Hernandez for the email to remind me the dealership that ruined my first car buying experience. Pretty sure it was a manager I dealt with. June of 2020. Came in I wanted the 2015 Honda Accord. Offered 11,000. They said yes so I put a $3,000 down payment. Mind you I was stationed on Holloman roughly 70 miles away. I came back the next day and the total somehow became 15,000 with registration and “warranty”. I said I never wanted or asked for a warranty and I wanted it taken off. The gentleman said I’d have to come back the next day bc the paper work takes so long. Fast forward to today and I work at CarMax where I can add a service plan and remove it with ease and still get a sale done in under 2 hours. I’ve studied sales law (in Co) and what they did to me as an Airman is illegal in my state. Shame on that sales tactic I hope they have leaned a more honest way to sell cars and make a living. However I’m giving 2 stars because I’ve taken good care of the vehicle and it’s taken good care of me. Just shady and dishonest sales tactics that grind my gears.

Wrecked my new car and tried to cover it up. We bought 2 vehicles the same night. Brand new Explorer and Lincoln Suv. I brought the Lincoln in for service for faulty air vents, rear windows and a rear wheel well trim that was not attached properly after being contacted thru Lincoln. Borman had my vehicle for 3.5 weeks to fix these things. Upon being called to pick up my vehicle the Service manager stated over the phone that someone "bumped" the tire of a truck into the front driver side bumper. When I arrived I clearly saw he lied. What I saw was: -bumper that was removed - bumper was painted not the same color to match - grill isn't attached inside the bumper - fenders are misaligned and have gaps - hood is not aligned with gaps on one side and tight on the other - texture of the bumper looks to be poorly repaired with fiberglass (bondo filler) -undercarriage cover loose and hanging - built in cameras not operable or working - sensors not working for crash avoidance - center console inside taken apart -food all over the floor inside - steering feels off - brakes don't feel the same - passenger side of bumper was clear coated without being painted and they painted over chips I hadn't had a chance to touch up so you can't do it now and touch up paint on top of the clear coat as a last minute attempt to cover more scratches and damage but wrong pen used - headlights not even when on - and more... This vehicle has 13,000 miles and isn't a year old. It went in like a new vehicle and the service manager stated that "it looks fine to him" and that "I drive trucks so I don't notice cosmetic things." He offered to replace the bumper and I felt mortified that they wouldn't even acknowledge the damage or even talk about it but instead became defensive as if I was wrong for stating that my car had been wrecked and I was never told and that they tried to cover up something horrible. Even worse is that they sent me home with a car that has so many safety features not working that I don't even know if the airbags will deploy. I asked for video of the incident and I was told it happened "out of view of the cameras." I contacted my insurance and they're trying to work with the dealerships insurance but it's been horrible. My new Lincoln has lost all of its value and I still have up continue paying it off because they will not take responsibility. I'm assuming that they will not even pay for any depreciating factors given the fact that they're so non communicative with insurance and even Lincoln motors when they tried to contact. Please be careful and do a full walk around on your vehicles when dropping off and picking up from service. I always do and it's saved me a bit of pain even though I have to go through this ordeal. What would've happened if I left the dealership and didn't notice until I got on the road. They'd have every right to deny anything as their fault. I'm very disappointed in Borman and knowing we bought 2 vehicles the same night and brought 2 more people to them within 2 weeks to buy more based on the buying experience I am really torn up over how customer loyalty works there. It seems like the sale is a song and dance of impressing the buyer not afterwards good luck getting any honesty or help. This is going to be a horrible, lengthy and expensive process for me. By far the worst experience with this dealership. Braden Tidwell meets the salesmen stereotype - liar & untrustworthy even though I made it clear from the beginning I was purchasing a vehicle. No need for all the unnecessary lies and non existent promises made on his part. His manager Pat Sullivan wasnt any better. Such a nightmare since purchasing my vehicle. I guess if you're not a man going in to borman, expect to be lied to by these scumbags. Oh and make sure to document anything this "man" promises you on paper with his signature because he will twist your words to make you look like the liar.

Met by manager on arrival and service plan reviewed. Saw truck leave staging area 10 minutes or so later and text mssg from Richard Portillo that a video of work would be forthcoming. In about 45 minutes a video over mssg shows up and the service tech/mechanic presented a narrated video of the work done, beginning with front of engine compartment and moving thru all areas, then to tires and treads depth and brake pad thickness. He then moved to undercarriage and inspected everything. This was much more impressive than just going over the worksheet. I saw measurements being done and fluid levels and filters.Well done Richard and team.

This place and it's customer service is a joke and appalling! Roger is rude, fails to answer the simplest of questions and gives zero help or assistance. Don't let your car need any service or have an emergency arise because you'll wait ages for just a simple estimate or diagnosis of what is wrong. Please go elsewhere!!!! They don't deserve your business or hard earned money.

I just recently purchased a new car and traded in my old car as well. They were so helpful I was really shocked and pleasantly surprised by how hard they worked to get me the best price for my trade in even with my trade in in not working condition! Braden was the one that helped me out the whole time and when I say he is helpful and dedicated to his clients I really mean that. He went above and beyond to make sure I got the price I was wanting on my new car as far as my payments go. He got new the lowest payment he could for which is what I wanted. I went to Borman and I was immediately greeted by Braden. I told him that I was looking for a suv with an affordable payment, low mileage, and reliability. We tested drove a few. He gave me time so I could research them on my own and I ended up going with the Hyundai Tucson. The suv is great, had very low milage and the payment is acceptable. I was very happy and impressed with Braden customer service and the way he made sure I was super happy with my Hyundai Tucson. He was also very helpful with any questions I messaged him with and answered promptly. Would definetly recommend Braden and Borman to anyone looking for good people and quality cars.

It's been 7 months now and I am as happy as I was on August 31, 2021 when I purchased a new 2021 Ford F-150. Richie Valenzuela and the Borman Autoplex Finance Team were amazing. Went through the reverse approval process, yes my first purchase venture as a recent divorcee, with ease and without pressure and they were able to get me into my new truck. Bought our new ‘21 Mazda from here and had a mostly pleasant experience. We inquired about our vehicle and received a call right away. We were able to come by and get the process started easily and had a lot of help from the sales team. There was a few hiccups over a part we ordered, the communication was a bit lacking. I was able to speak to Service Manager Doug who helped me right away and squeezed me in to get the part installed at my earliest convenience. I would consider Borman for future purchases.

Have been trying to get a replacement for my 2013 F150 for months. With supply chain issues, back ordered parts and low stock it’s been almost impossible to even see any great trucks. So when I saw that Borman Autoplex had a 2022 Lariat coming in that might fit the bill, I jumped at the opportunity. With the help of Tom, Mike and Frank I was able to get into this great truck within a week. I did not appreciate current additional fees, some dealerships are adding on these as there is a low inventory of vehicles, but not all are. My whole family has been Chevy fans since I can remember, "FORD" was the "never" say word for us... to make a long story short, I was with my buddy hunting and we were in his ford f-150... I thought the f150 was amazing!! Went to borman autoplex, and sales consultant Pierce Montoya and his manager Mike Washam were great! We didn't feel pressured to buy is what I liked the most,, but this 2 man team made us feel comfortable to buy;) we will definitely send referrals to these 2;)

After doing some online research for vehicles, we decided to drive from Alamogordo to Las Cruces to Borman to see if we could make a deal on a new truck. From our phone calls to our face to face interactions - we were treated like royalty. They had the truck we were interested in pulled up front and ready to go for a test drive when we arrived. We quickly were offered a fair price for our trade, which made the buying experience even better. Frank, Ritchie, Robert - as we passed thru the process it just got better. They stayed after hours to finish up our deal so we wouldn't have to make another trip over. We definitely recommend Borman and will be back when we're ready for another deal! Thank you!

Adrian sent me the window sticker on a Ford F350 Diesel. I scheduled an appointment even though the truck was in transit. Once I arrived Adrian handed me over to a salesman. I was then informed that (because of the pandemic) the price of computer chips had increased and that the price of the truck had increased by 4995.00 They cut the 4995.00 price increase down to 2995.00 and wanted me to pay the new price of almost 3000. over the original price on the window sticker texted to me by Adrian. Adrian is not trust worthy at all. With the 500.00 military discount it would have only been 2495.00 over the original 62150.00 window sticker I was sent (or so I was told). So by now I am beyond the 2495.00.. It is the principal that I was lied to and that by now I am wasting my time I told Adrian that I wanted to speak with him but he acted like he was on a phone call the entire time I was there. I have read other reviews that confirm the same deceptive practices. The sales guy was running back and forth and wanted us to initial on a paper so he could show Adrian that we were committed to a deal. How about this business committing to honesty. This place has no integrity and no respect for customers. They would not adjust my trade-in allowance or work in any way to remove that extra 2495.00. I was also not given a trade-in amount until they ran the vin and saw what the pay off amount was. I would suggest everyone to find another dealership. When it comes to ADRIAN DIAZ (SALES MANAGER) Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see when dealing with this business and especially Adrian. What a shame that I wasted my time and gas going to this circus. Oh yeah.. here are my initials...W.T.F..

Terrible!!! Stay away... - After 3 or more hours negotiating, they came up with a price for a new vehicle, and a trade-in price for my current vehicle. As always, they requested my signature on the offer and we were agree on the terms. When I was signing the paperwork, and the new vehicle was taken to fill up with gas and wash it over, some one said that a mistake was made, and they could not honor the offer made. I was mad, spoke with the sales manager, with no result. Two days later, I spoke with the General Manager Bruce Weinrich, who apologize, but did not change anything about respecting the deal they previously offered. He basically spitted on his company name and reputation....He did not take any responsibility for the mistake made by his team, or tried to compensate some how the situation. Please do not give any more business to this company with no idea about customer service and formality...

My transmission had a problem in my 2002 Honda Accord as we were passing through Las Cruces, NM. I was pleased to see there was a full service Honda Dealer within a mile. They looked at my transmission, supposedly, and within way too short of a time made a diagnosis that would have required dismantling the transmission. Then they told us that they wanted OVER FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FIX IT, and said that my transmission had be replaced. Not having $5K on me, we drove to a used car dealer, completely separate from Borman, and asked if their mechanic could look at it. Within one hour it was fixed for a total of $120. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE HONDA DEALER AT BORMAN. THEY VERY DEFINITELY TRIED TO RIP US OFF. THEY KNEW WE WERE DRIVING HOME TWO THOUSAND MILES AND TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR SITUATION.

Outstanding Customer Service - I'm a military member from Holloman AFB, and I recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra from Borman. I have more than my share of cars over my 48 years of life and I must say that this was my absolute best buying experience to date. The young lady who sold me the car was outstanding. At the time of my purchase, the demand for this model far exceeded the supply and some dealers were selling them above MSRP. These cars was literally selling as fast as they were being unloaded from the trucks. There was no haggling. I had done my research and I knew how these cars were selling. I was more than happy to pay MSRP for this particular model. Borman not only sold me the car at a fair price, they also gave me a military discount, which I didn't even ask for. Go for Duane - I was really taken good care by Duane. He is nice, patient, and most important, he is honest. He tells you everything he know, never play tricks on the deal. If you are looking for a Hyundai in this area, just go directly to Borman Autoplex, and you have to ask for Duane! Any Hyundai dealership in Albuquerque, Roswell, Tucson or even Phoenix can't beat the price in Borman. Duane, he is the best salesman I've ever seen in other Auto dealers.

One price deal a promissed - Thanks to Sara we got what we wanted at the price we were looking to pay. It took a little while to get though the dealership process but we are happy with the car. This is our 6th vehicle we have bought from this dealer in 20 years.

Mazda 3 for our son - My wife and I bought a new Mazda 3 for our son recently. We decided to let him go to the dealerships by himself so he could experience shopping for a car on his own. He did all his own research online and then visited the dealerships with the cars on his buy list. He decided on a Mazda 3 from Borman Mazda. We did the final sales transaction with our son but he did most of the work on his own. We were very impress with the way his salesman helped him and treated him. It was a very good experience for our family.

Best buying experience ever - I recently bought a new Honda CR-V from Borman Autoplex, and had a great experience. My salesperson was very friendly, and when he didn't have an answer about something (satellite radio pre-wiring), he found out. The price was very fair, and better than the other area Honda dealers by hundreds of dollars. I've bought many cars over the years, but never as easily and professionally - and affordably! - as I did at Borman! Highly recommend!
